How do I create my first mess menu?

After signing up, create an organization, then add a mess. You can then create weekly menus by selecting the mess and week start date from your dashboard.

Can I display the menu on a TV?

Yes! Navigate to your public menu URL and add ?display=tv to enable full-screen TV mode optimized for mess hall displays. This view auto-refreshes.

How do students access the menu?

Share your public menu link (e.g., messmate.com/your-org/your-mess) with students. No app download is required, and it works on any mobile browser.

What happens if I exceed my plan limits?

You'll receive a notification to upgrade. Your existing menus will continue to work, but you won't be able to add new messes until you upgrade your plan.

Can I customize the menu display?

Pro plan users can customize branding, colors, and display settings. Contact our sales team to unlock these premium customization features.
